In this course, you'll advance your drawing skills through sophisticated techniques and personal exploration. You'll master complex form construction, cross-contour drawing, and foreshortening while developing dynamic compositions with advanced spatial relationships. We'll focus on creating full tonal ranges, dramatic lighting effects, and material representation to achieve refined rendering. You'll also explore expressive mark-making, gestural techniques, and stylization to develop your personal visual language. Throughout the sessions, you'll experiment with mixed media and contemporary approaches, ultimately creating cohesive finished works while learning professional presentation techniques to support your ongoing artistic practice.
